Last weekend to see Rocky Horror Show at the Warner

TORRINGTON - The weekend of Oct. 29 - 31 is the last weekend to see the Rocky Horror Show at the Warner Theatre's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.

The play is based on the 1975 British film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which is a spoof on the 1950's sci-fi horror films. The story is narrated by a criminologist who, reading from a leather bound report titled "The Denton Affair," tells the story of a newly engaged couple, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, who find themselves lost and with a flat tire on a rainy, late November evening. Seeking a phone to call for help, they knock on the door of Dr. Frank N Furter and get swept into his bizarre world.

The production is famous for its interactive elements and audience participation. The theatre will have audience participation bags available for purchase before the show that will include: water guns, latex gloves, newspapers, glow stick, confetti and playing cards. Patrons will not be allowed to bring their own props into the performance.

Performances are Friday at 8, Saturday at 8 and 11:59 p.m. Tickets are $22 and can be purchased at the Warner Theatre box office.
