TORRINGTON - 4Troops, a musical group comprised of United States combat veterans, will be performing at the Warner Theatre this Friday at 8.

Tickets are $34 with $1 of the ticket price going to benefit veterans' charities.

The 4Troops are former Captain Merdith Melcher, former Sergeant Daniel Jens, Retired Staff Sergeant Ron Henry and former Sergeant David Clemo.

The group just recently taped a concert special from the U.S.S. Intrepid which aired on participating PBS stations this summer. They have also performed on CBS Early show, Fox and Friends, and Good Morning America.

4Troops sings inspirational pop and country songs, such as "Bless the Broken Road," "Angel," and "You Raise Me Up." The group came together to sing on behalf of all troops, to honor their sacrifices and to create awareness of their needs.

The group released their debut self-titled CD during Armed Forces week in May of this year.
