Afternoon of Art and Life

Watch history in the making as Ellen Griesedieck and her American Mural Project team work on a panel of the Mural in her Sharon studio.

In between the viewing there will be guest speakers talking about how to preserve, protect and collect priceless art and collections.

The Art and Life event is Saturday May 22 from 2 - 4 p.m. at 173 Low Road, Sharon, Connecticut.

At 2:30 p.m. attorney David Stack, of McLaughlin and Stern, and Diane E.R. Johnstone, S.V.P. Salisbury Trust and Wealth Advisors, a division of Salisbury Bank and Trust Company will be talking about "Love your art now - The pitfalls of passing it on to charity, children or auction houses."

At 3:00 p.m. Michelle Impey, Fine Art Specialist and Personal Lines Appraiser for Chubb Personal Insurance will be talking about "Protecting what is priceless: assessing and preserving your collection."

At 3:30 p.m. Regina Madigan of Regina Madigan Appraisals will be talking about "Antiques and fine art ownership: from curiousity to responsibility".
