The Children's Museum brings the jungle to the city

WEST HARTFORD, CT - The Children's Museum in West Hartford is bringing jungle fun to city life!

April 2nd will be Jungle Day at the Museum. The CT Parrot Society will bring an array of colorful birds, and animal curator Laura Boglisch will present rainforest lizards, including a variety of colorful geckos. Children will have the chance to get up close and personal with animals that they would typically not see in the temperate New England climate.

Visitors can view and touch these interesting animals while learning about them and their natural environments. There will be jungle-themed activities all day, including rainforest crafts that children can take home and a Saharan scavenger hunt to challenge kids to put on their detective hats. With exotic birds, unusual geckos, and fun games, Jungle Day is a singular opportunity for children to experience the jungle.

Jungle Day activities are free with general admission to the Children's Museum in West Hartford. The activities will run from 11 am to 2 pm.
